CSJC Istok for several years tried to change the Federal Law № 209-FZ «On the development of small and medium enterprises in the Russian Federation» of 24.07.2007. Item 4 of part 14 of the decree banned manufactures of healing mineral water from financial government’s aid putting us on a par with oil and gas production, alcohol and cigarettes.
Finally our appeals hit on target August 2022. Business ombudsman Boris Titov decided to facilitate an amending act. The ministry of economic development elaborated the change. The State duma adopted it and as of June, 9, 2023 CJSC Istok received equal rights with other industries in terms of access to financial support.
That’s quite a game changer for Istok and whole bottling industry. Our small business makes a difference!
